Dubai - April 17, 2006

Dubai’s leading security services provider First Security Group and German Pond Academy for Safety and Security signed a memorandum of understanding on April 17, 2006 to provide security training courses in the UAE.

The MoU was signed by FSG’s chairman Major General Sharafuddin Sharaf and Pond Academy’s chairman Daniel Pond and provides for offering a comprehensive range of accredited training courses and solutions for security service personnel.

The partnership will combine FSG’s expertise and leading position in the local market with Pond Academy’s experience in designing and providing basic and advanced educational programmes for the security industry. The move comes as part of FSG’s continuous efforts to provide progressive and quality services to the business and residents in Dubai and the UAE as a whole.

The signing ceremony, held at FSG headquarters at the Dubai World Trade Centre, was also attended by Major General Mohammed Hussain Singel, founding member and director of FSG’s Training College and Guarding, FSG Group Managing Director Craig Stanbridge; Pond Academy’s managing director Peter Czepluch and other senior managers.
