FAST FACTS
  • First Security Group was founded in May 2004 and was officially inaugurated a year later at a grand ceremony attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
  • First Security Group was established as a 100 per cent local company with a start-up capital of 20 million AED.
  • The company’s 10 founding members are retired major generals from Dubai Police with law endorsement experience of more than 30 years each. The company’s name is both tribute to their achievements and an affirmation of FSG’s commitment to excellence.
  • First Security Group’s Board of Directors is headed by Maj. Gen. Sharaffudin Sharaf. Maj. Gen. Nasser Abdul Razak is the company’s vice chairman, while Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz Al Bannai is the CEO.
  • Currently FSG operates through five divisions and employs over 100 staff members, excluding the rapidly expanding teams of qualified security guards and technicians. The company is employing specialists from different security and operational fields sourced from some 20 countries worldwide, in addition to specialists in the fields of corporate administration, corporate finance and IT.
  • Guarding is one of the largest FSG division in terms of manpower with hundreds of security guards trained in accordance with internationally recognised training programmes. The division is constantly growing as more and more security guards join the team to meet the increasing demand for skilled security personnel.
  • First Security Group deploys security guards for various sites throughout Dubai including shopping malls, construction sites, offices and other facilities. The company prides itself on having high-profile clients such as Woolworths in Deira City Centre, Dubai Civil Aviation at Dubai International Airport and JT Metro at the Dubai Metro railway project.
  • FSG selects its security personnel based on strict criteria regarding the candidates’ physical fitness and communication skills. Subsequently, all FSG security guards undergo rigorous training in order to ensure the provision of high quality security service.
  • Special Projects employs skilled technicians and labourers at various construction sites in the UAE. The division has completed fire safety and security systems projects for residential and commercial buildings in Dubai Marina, Al Nahda Towes and Dubai Medical City and is presently busy with installation and equipment of fire and safety systems for a number of government sector projects in Dubai and Sharjah. Special Projects also prides itself on being the first FSG division to obtain an ISO 9001:2000 certification.
  • First Security Group acquired First Aid and Safety Training Consultants (FAST) in 2005 and integrated it within its structure under the name Health & Safety Division. The division provides health and safety training to major hotel and tourism establishments in Dubai and the UAE. The training courses cover a comprehensive range of skills including first aid, fire safety and occupational health and safety training and are accredited by internationally renowned organisation STA.
  • The Training Centre has acquired accreditations from leading security training organisations to provide a wide and comprehensive range of security training courses. The division provides a full spectrum of specialist training solutions for government, police and military organistions and is responsible for the in-house training of all FSG security guards.
Corporate Profile

First Security Group was founded in May 2004 by the ten men responsible for the establishment of Dubai’s Law Enforcement and Security infrastructure, with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

First Security Group offers a comprehensive range of security and safety services which comply with the latest international industry standards and requirements. The company is operating through several divisions including Corporate Services, Health & Safety, Guarding, Special Projects and Training. In addition, First Security Group has entered into a number of joint venture agreements to expand its portfolio and include maritime security, lifesaving training, driving training and corporate financial services to its service offerings. At present the company’s joint venture partners include Hart Security, STA (UK), STA (Australia), and Haydrian MENA.
