Anchorage and Oilfield Waterborne Security Support
Throughout our numerous projects we have identified considerable safety and security gaps in today’s maritime commercial environment. Our Waterborne Security services have been developed to plug these gaps, whether in or around the port facility area, around offshore terminals or at deepwater anchorages. We utilize high speed patrol craft, suitable for the operating environment, that are complemented with highly trained and experienced crews (on occasion an element of locally employed personnel will be used), to give our clients a comprehensive patrol and interdiction capability that will ensure the protection of their commercial and strategic assets.
Exclusion Zone Enforcement
Many countries and multi-national corporations, who have offshore littoral interests, have recognized that the most effective way to protect an offshore asset is to formally establish an internationally recognized and registered exclusion zone around that asset. Once established, the exclusion zone water space needs to be professionally managed for the objective of the exclusion zone to be achieved. We have the experience and capability to provide effective exclusion zone management and enforcement. This is achieved by mounting an operation that utilizes appropriate small fast patrol craft to enforce and manage the water space effectively, by implementing advanced interdiction procedures. We have developed this capability by undertaking operations in the Middle East and other areas of the world.
Sub Surface Detection / Deterrence
Utilizing a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) fitted with a variety of subsurface deterrence measures and cameras, we can provide 24hr security for offshore structures and vessels alongside or at anchor. For companies that need to be able to maintain operations at higher security levels, the ROV is the quickest and most cost effective method of carrying out an underwater inspection of the hull of a vessel, infrastructure or offshore facility.
Coastal Protection and Interdiction Operations
Through our experiences gained worldwide in this type of operation, we can provide the expertise and infrastructure required for Governments, Law Enforcement Agencies, Customs, Ports Authorities and Private Companies to establish and maintain their own coastal protection and interdiction units wherever they may be required to protect assets and infrastructures. Alternatively, we will undertake to provide these services through our dedicated CPI Teams which are available to undertake operations worldwide.
Anti-Piracy Support Services
Allied to our other waterborne security services, we are able to offer operational teams, advice and training in Anti-Piracy operations. We can provide dedicated teams of highly trained operators to give security cover during transits through piracy hotspots or provide cover for vessels at anchor through our anchorage protection services.
