Security Incident Management & Crisis Response Training

We offer bespoke Security Incident Management and Crisis Response (IM&CR) training packages. These are specifically designed to test and evaluate a company’s Emergency and Crisis Management Teams ability to manage and coordinate an effective response to any security incidents.

The aim of this type of training is to develop an inherent company capability to manage security incidents that may affect commercial operations and allow for business continuity. On completion of the training package, the Emergency and Crisis Management Teams will have the capability to manage any adverse security incidents that may occur onboard one of their Vessels or within their Facility, with the aim of maintaining continuous commercial operations and ensuring a return to normality as quickly as possible.

The HART package consists of:

Data Gathering

infrastructure, contingency plans, resources, security and emergency procedures in order to ensure an integrated and common response to security incidents

Compare existing procedures with regulatory parameters

Identify key threats and impact analysis

Identify escalation criteria

Workshop

Identify key contacts

Identify resources

Develop the Company’s Emergency procedures

Decide crisis declaration procedures and escalation process

Develop crisis management procedures

Note: Following the workshop the Company will be able to finalize their incident response procedures for potential security incidents that will be incorporated in the Company Emergency Guidance Manual.

Test and Evaluation

We will design and execute a scenario based Table Top Exercise, utilizing the Company’s agreed response procedures incorporated in the Company Emergency Guidance Manual, to test and evaluate the systems, procedure and Emergency Management Team’s capabilities in managing specific security related incidents.

The scenario will be specifically developed to allow an escalation of responsibility from the Emergency Management Team to the Crisis Management Team. During the Table Top Exercise each team will be directed by a HART expert, ensuring increased knowledge and capability development of security incident management.
