HS002 : Manual Handling and Lifting

Description
This course is aimed at employees who are involved in lifting and handling as part of their job. It complies to the United Kingdom Manual Handling Operations Regulations (1992) and is approved by the UAE Ministry of Health
Objective
To provide trainees with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills to enable them to make correct decisions on lifting procedures and carry out or supervise any lifting or handling jobs in a safe and secure way. Thus reducing injuries and damage to goods and improving employee efficiency.

- Base Movement
- Injury Prevention
- Legal Aspects of Employer and Employee
Training Methods
Lectures / demonstrations / video and practical exercises.

Continual/Progressive.

Entry Requirements
Candidates should have some spoken English and be free from conditions which would impair their lifting efficiency.
