Description
This is a specialist First Aid course to standards approved by the UK Health & Safety Executive. Research has shown that in the event of a cardiac arrest the best chance of survival is to be defibrillated within 8 minutes. Fact: For every minute defibrillation is delayed the chances of survival decrease by about 10%. Fact: In up to 85% of cardiac arrests the heart simply loses its normal rhythm.
