Description
This STA course is the standard First Aid Course for the workplace and complies with UK Health & Safety executive standards.
Objective
To provide trainees who have not received any previous training with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills necessary to become fully qualified First Aiders and achieve a Statutory First Aid Certificate that meets internationally recognised standards.

- Priorities of First Aid
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation – Adult
- Unconsciousness and Faints
- Breathing-Choking, Asthma, Hyperventilation
- Circulation-Specific Bleeding, Angina, Heart Attack
- Cerebral-Concussion, Compression, Skull Fracture, Stroke, Eye Injuries
- Hypoglycaemia and Poisoning
- Burns and Heat Disorders
- Injuries to Bones and Muscles
- Simple Record Keeping and Responsibilities of Employers and Employees
