Chairman: Major General Sharafuddin Al Sharaf
Retiring at the rank of Major General after 30 plus years of public service, Sharafuddin has also distinguished himself as a prominent role player in the Dubai Community and respected by the leadership of Dubai . During his tenure with the Dubai Police Sharafuddin held posts ranging from State Security to Director of the CID among many others. Being well aware of how security and infrastructure is the key to stability and economic growth, Sharafuddin has also distinguished himself in the commercial sector via the prestigious Sharaf Group, a global player in the shipping industry along with other successful businesses and partnerships.
Vice Chairman: Major General Nasser Al Sayed Abdul Razaq
After over 30 years of public service in many pivotal leadership roles in Dubai Police, Maj. Gen. Nasser rose to the level of Major General. His final position and possibly the highlight of his career in public service was the prestigious post of Deputy Commander of Dubai Police. Maj. Gen. Nasser has also been a key player on public committees and was appointed in an advisory role in the Higher Traffic Committee by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Maj. Gen. Nasser is currently instrumental in the development efforts of the First Driving Centre which will be established according to the international standards to become one of the most modern and important centres for training in the basics and principles of driving in the GCC. This will be achieved by his expertise and contacts in RTA and his strong local and international connections. At present, Maj. Gen. Nasser is busy implementing changes through developing advanced systems which will have a positive effect on the safety of motorists and the observance of law.
CEO: Major General Abdul Aziz Mohammed Al Bannai
Retiring at the rank of Major General after more than 30 years of public service Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz has distinguished himself by taking a number of high posts in Dubai Police General Head Quarters. Heading the General Department for Ports and Establishments Security was one of his last positions. Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz was appointed to spearhead the security efforts that led to the successful meeting of the IMF in Dubai in 2003 and won the appreciation of H.H Sheikh Mohammed for his efforts to ensure the success of the conference. During his tenure with Dubai Police Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz was trained globally and became an expert in the field of drug enforcement. He has also risen to the upper echelons of the Dubai business community as the leader of Al Bannai Group which is considered to be among the most prominent companies worldwide. Axiom Telecom, one of the companies in Al Bannai Group, is among the most successful telecommunications firms in the Middle East. Maj. Gen. Abdul Aziz is also known to have pioneered the squash in the UAE. He helped spread the game through founding the UAE Squash Rackets Association and heading it as a president and organising the international championship which attracted one of the best squash players in the world. He is also a member in Al Ahli Club -Dubai.
